IUMS launched 6070 call center for coronavirus patients' admission
 
Dr. Nader Tavakoli, Vice President for Clinical Affairs at Iran University of Medical Sciences, announced that the 6070 call center was launched with the aim of locating available hospital beds for patients online and preventing coronary heart disease in the capital city of Tehran.
 
The Deputy Director for Treatment of the COVID-19 headquarters in Tehran province stated that the 6070 call center also increases efficiency for identifying available hospital beds; it will be effective in organizing the referrals and hospitalization process for COVID-19 patients 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and will be one of the sustainable processes for better crisis management in metropolitan areas.
 
The Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Iran University of Medical Sciences announced that the 6070 call center has no SMS platform at this time and has been set up to accelerate the placement of patients in need of hospitalization via phone calls.

Future advances to this system will be considered based on its performance and feedback received.
