Dr. Sajad Mosavi, director of pediatrics at the University of Basra visited Ali Asghar Children's Hospital on August 4 2019. During the visit, it was agreed that students of Basra University (Nursing, medical doctors, residents, fellows) to take courses at Iran University of Medical Sciences.

July 20, 2019. Induction and valedictory ceremony of Dr Eftekhari (former executive director) and Mr Rostampor (new executive director) were held  at Ali Asghar Children's Hospital.
